What Is The Lymphatic Drainage Massage?

This is one of the most rythmic, relaxing, light touch massages available.

It's light touch because your vessels of the lymphatic system run within just a few millimetres under your skin. So Julie does not need to go deep - this massage is all about simply stimulating the lymph within the vessels to coax it to move itself, along with all the toxins it's carrying, so anything that's not meant to be there is carried into the blood stream and via the liver or kidneys out of your body. (This is why you may feel the need to go to the toilet more!!).

Who is this for?

If you feel sluggish or bloated

If you are doing a detox - eating healthy and want an added boost to your detox regime

You are doing your "beach body ready" preparations for your holidays

If you simply want a relaxing massage but want to try something that feels a little different.

You've had a recent operation and need some drainage - (with your health care providers' permission)

This helps with "bad" knees, general aches (where the feeling can come from being a little blocked in that are).

Please note - I don't normally treat lymphoedema - however, if your health care provider gives their permission (or states that anyone unqualified, such a partner can perform massage), then please do contact us to book in or to have an initial chat.
